Welcome to the Web site of the 4th annual SURA/ViDe workshop. This workshop has grown to be a recognized learning venue providing timely and valuable information on collaborative conferencing, streaming video, and storing/serving video-on-demand. The 2002 workshop was held at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, April 23 - 25, at the Hill University Center, 1400 University Blvd (on the corner of 14th Ave. South and University Blvd, also known as 8th Ave. South), providing participants with the opportunity to hear more about the latest developments and deployments using digital video over IP, including case studies, technical training, and new technology previews. Also, new this year -- an exciting exhibitor's area!
